Leah is a writer who wants to better people's lives, one article at a time (and through the occasional batch of brownies).

Leah studied magazine journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. When she wasn't learning about the industry and A.P. Style, she wrote for several on-campus publications including the Daily Orange, What the Health and Equal Time. Because she loved writing, Leah rarely took a break from putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). She spent her summers interning, where she worked on her writing skills and improved her knowledge of the magazine industry.

After graduating with her B.S. in magazine journalism and a nutrition minor in 2011, Leah worked  for an array of publications, from Greatist, a health-focussed startup, to POPSUGAR Moms, a go-to guide for parents. (You can read about all of her work experience in her resume.) Her work was also referenced by several other media outlets, including Jezebel, AMCTV and The Week.

Through these jobs, Leah acquired skills in editing, online production and social media.

Leah has the work ethic and enthusiasm to succeed at any company, and would be the perfect addition to your editorial team. Feel free to email her if you're looking for a writer, editor, producer, or the perfect chocolate-chip cookie recipe.
